We have the same retards here in our country as well - both among educated / and non educated, wealthy and poor situated. Last year a guy attached his dog via a cable to his car and "took" the poor dog to a ride... towed it after the car on asphalt... and the dog was still alive when they caught him. And when they asked him why he did that he said he was just bored...

Host up a game - send message to all + your IP - and see what happens.

It's good to talk about SB and have a chat with others - but personally I prefer playing this goddamn game online with others. I used to sit hours in the lobby and then couple hours more in the "looking for game" section on TS, but nobody was hosting up a game or wanting to play one. It took several hours to get one going - and "back then" there were much more people around.

Having an 8 player cap limit on multi- sessions doesn't help things either - if a "regular" player could at least host up for 12 that would help a lot.

Also - a sidenote: I think it would be useful to have some sort of "chatbox" here on steelbeasts.com where you could post up messages like

"game is up, IP..., starting in 15 minutes, coop, etc."

A lot of people don't go on teamspeak becasue they see that nobody is around - but I'm sure some would want to join if they have the time & are browsing the site. Just an idea...

Actually it "works" on the M1A1 as well - guess it happens with other vehicles as well.

It works on the Leo2A5 - everytime, Beta - you get sort of launched out in the sky.

Do the following:

pop your head out of the hatch (commanders position) + swith on binoculars + move down into the turret (bino still on) and see what happens - small surprise

What about the infantry phone that is featured in the original tusk package?

I thought I've heard that this idea was abandoned, since the temperature was extreme high due to the engine at back of the tank

Surprised you would upload picks of damage though. Even if it only appears to be cosmetic.

I've put it on because if you hit google or youtube you are able to find in 10 seconds much more pics and even videos of M1's getting wacked the same way. Hopefully it doesn't endanger anyone.

Plus effects of a RPG hit propably on an M1A1 (HA) but I guess Dragon6 should fill us in the details

Dragon6G was kind enough to send me over some pictures he made from his M1A2 SEP TUSK tank fielded in Iraq.

I don't see any problem about having a discussion about it. It's not meant to be offensive or demandive inrespect to anybody. The last thing on my mind is to piss here somebody off. IMO if you don't want to get into this just don't reply to the thread so that it dies down by himself.

If anybody from the devs team is annoyed by this thread just remove it or say so and I will remove it personally.

My intention is to stir up the water a bit. Maybe we can squeeze out some new infos from the developers regarding the upcoming major update in the summer

I'm personally very keen on wheter the Leopard2A6 is going to be included in it or not? this hasn't been confirmed nor denied before.

I have been out of the SB world for a little bit due to the fact that my country feels it must place US troops in every corner or the earth to feel safe. But I have two new scenarios that I'm posting for you guys. ON THE ANVIL and RED SPEAR are my new ones. Check them out and I hope you enjoy them. I also have some pics. Of my tank I took for you steelbeasters. We got the M1A2 v2 SEPs but we also just got the new TUSK package on some of our tanks http://www.defense-update.com/products/t/tusk.htm its pretty cool. Welcome back! Its good to hear finally something about the TUSK - do you have some first hand pics or vids of it?

"Neutralia" That's a blast from the past. I didn't know that Dr. Device was back. I haven't seen him in a while. It would be nice if he were to bring back his campaign.

I was kind of suprised though, that I never heard anything from the Generals at all when I offered operational control of Danish and Canadian forces in the Counterstroke campaign. Anyone wanting to participate with that is still welcome.

As for Neutralia - I don't want to go into details right now - because I'm not in charge, but I can tell you that something big is coming along, which is going to stir up the water a bit. So stay tooned

As for Counterstroke - there was nothing intentional in not taking part of that, its just that weekends are mostly off for our members. I personally wanted to participate, but I just don't have the time for it - my girlfriend is not letting me She is the CO on the weekends, and a pretty strict one too

I think the upcoming "Neutralia" project will definitly be able to give new fuel to online gaming.

I am writing in hopes to get something straightened that probaply should have been long ago, I will also try to be as conrete as possible. TH you seem to have an issue with Billy that I think is not my bussiness, or anybody elses here in the community - this thing should be sorted out between the two of you, and be restricted to you alone.

You were making obvious suggestions to the SB Generals, and as a founder and co-leader of it I feel its time to raise my voice. My biggest pain in the ass the some members in this community are obsessively against 1 or 2 particular persons in the VU, and because of this they hate and attack everything in connection with them, especially the VU. Heck even myself been labelled as being corrupt once in comments by "SBdefender".

By putting blame on a VU just because of a few members that you can't get along results in putting blame on everybody who is involved with this. Judgeing a whole community by only one of its members isn't very wise. We are completely open to everyone. Why not just hop in once TH to us and see how things are and get to know the rest of the guys, have a game, chit-chat stuffs like that.

I personally think VU's are the way to go for the online community, just because there needs to be some sort of organisation. The members of the Steel Beasts community are from all over the world - which means different time zones, different way of life, different age etc. There isn't a dedicated host, getting a game strarted takes eons, if there is a game going you cant join unless everybody goes back and start all over etc. - this doesn't make things better either.

I'm glad to say that we are able to arrange at least 1 big game per week with the germans (we use to have over 30 players recently ) - which has been going on for half year now.

TS during weekdays is pretty much deserted, I hardly see anyone online except for us.
