  1. Version 1.0.0

    109 downloads

As always, to install and play this scenario, just drag and drop into your "My Scenarios" folder. Made on v4.363, but should work with the newest version. This scenario is roughly 45 min to 60 minutes long, and is intended for beginner level players playing COOP with one another. However, it can be played comfortably in SP as well. This is my first scenario, as well as my first scenario with triggers/events. If you find it to be too easy, you can open it in the editor and remove the APS from the player's tanks. Enjoy!
  2. I have found a solution that works for me and my friend. I decided to go ahead and port forward and have him connect to me via IP instead of virtual LAN, and he and I were able to play with one another with no issues. I suppose that for anyone who finds this thread in the future that is having the same troubles as I was, attempt to port forward and host that way instead of using RadminVPN/Hamachi.
  3. For what its worth, we've tried with Hamachi as well to no effect. I guess the question is, does SB utilize any particular network options or anything of the sort to connect to peers/hosts when compared to other games?
  4. I've been trying to host steel beasts to play with a friend from the states (michigan) over radminVPN to avoid the hassle that is port forwarding. I live in europe (germany), and other people from the states i can play just fine with over radmin, but not him. When we try, our ping to one another goes through the roof (2000+) but, other games over radmin like world in conflict or SWAT 4, he and I can play just fine with no latency issues. is there any reason for this? is it possible to fix? We have suspicions that it might be network issues with SB or possibly ISP issues even, but don't have a way / don't know how to verify that hypothesis.
  5. is it possible that there could be files conflicting? we're both running the same version of the game, and as far as I know i'm not running any mods (honestly can't remember, i'll have to check) i would like to think that is ports were the issue it simply wouldn't appear at all for him, so im leaning towards the idea that maybe there's in incompatibility of some kind in the files essentially, im trying to find someone else to try and join my session if possible. if they can join, the issue is on his end, if not, its on my end
  6. Trying to play with a friend over network session, and every time he attempts to join my session he receives an error saying simply "Error joining session". He just downloaded this program, so i doubt its any issues with files on his end, and i reinstalled my copy to no avail. My ports are open; the session appears in the list for him. I'm at a loss, anyone have any ideas?
