    how to skin?

http://www.dejawolf.com/steelbeasts/SBtemplates.html You will need a photo editing app that works with layers in order to take advantage of Deja,s templates. The texture grid thingy that HH refers to is a locator for parts that aren't easily recognizable on the UV map. Most of the parts will be. If you're trying to lay out a unique paint scheme and you want your demarcation to line up it sometimes helps to cut all the relative parts and arrange them as a single unfolded image so you can line everything up. I can't emphasize this enough learn the toolbox of your editing app.

I think it is one of the files under window.dds or window wood.dds
  7. Wil, Beautiful work on your edit of this map. Congo
  8. But it does exactly the same when you occupy the drivers position so it does not mimic a steering wheel but is the opposite. It is counter-intuitive or complicated. The D key should tell the driver the vehicle goes to his right whether forward or reverse.
  9. VFR is correct, in a vehicle if you turn to the right you go in a clockwise circle forward and a counter-clockwise circle in reverse in SB you go clockwise in forward and reverse which I don't believe is correct.
  10. Probably close to the same in Dutch, I would think. But I think it refers to a type of Monkey which starts with an M.
  11. The meerkat or suricate, Suricata suricatta, is a small mammal belonging to the mongoose family. Meerkats live in all parts of the Kalahari Desert in Botswana, in much of the Namib Desert in Namibia and southwestern Angola, and in South Africa. A group of meerkats is called a "mob", "gang" or "clan". A meerkat clan often contains about 20 meerkats, but some super-families have 50 or more members. Meerkats have an average life span of 12–14 years.

A little of each depending on what I'm trying to acheive. I'll sometimes make a template with all the hardware I intend to highlight, nuts, rivets etc. And leave them as layers so they can be used on all models of the same type. When doing weathering most definitely work with layers. I guess a lot I just do by hand as I've used photoshop so much I can just do it. The best thing you can do is learn your photo-editing software,s toolbox, how to do straight lines, circles and various shapes and how to work with layers, drop shadow and such. anyway here is the file with turret top. Nick, This is the one I run in game and is 1024, It was developed from the one I attached and the one I included in my Spanish pack. It is more detailed and better balanced than the attached one in the earlier post. If you would like to have it just say the word and I will attach this one also. Congo
