  1. Yes, that's why I sent you the link to the map file - to bypass the whole map manager issue.
  2. Have a look at the bottom line of the image I posted. That shows you the path for where my maps are installed. I can't guarantee that this will be the same location on your machine as the installation now offers the option to people to select where the maps are installed. If you picked "somewhere else" then your maps will be installed "somewhere else". If you start the software, select "Options" from the main menu, then "File Paths", you should see something like this telling you where you have installed your maps: Failing that, perhaps try looking for that path or do a search for any folders called "packages"?
  3. I'm trying to deploy a "Munin" at night. During daylight (screenshot is from my UAS test range scenario) I see this: However at night in a different scenario all I see is this: The unit in question does have a Munin: Does the control interface just not work at night, or can the Munin not fly at night, or .... ?
  4. As a "workaround" I've stopped using the mouse wheel in this instance and gone back to 'clicking". One left click appears to be the vehicle. Two left clicks seems to be the similarly named passengers.
  5. While we are on a role with Ver 5 "things" ... Can we add some additional granularity to unit name (or maybe display their unit IDs)? I have a unit called "XO Spec" unfortunately the dismount is also XO Spec: As a result trying to use the logic choice: becomes problematic as they are listed twice and it seems even the smallest turn of the mouse wheel (or click) moves you from the 1st "XO Spec" to the 2nd one. As a result I'm never certain as to which one I've selected until I test it and almost inevitably find that I made the wrong choice. The call sign template doesn't seem to provide any obvious way to distinguish the vehicle from the people: Can we add an additional description to the Call Sign template, or perhaps can we be shown the "unit ID" since as I understand it these are unique, with the vehicle and the passengers having different / unique Unit IDs?
  6. If you downloaded the map (the link I posted) you don't need to use the map transfer tool. I don't know if the map is part of the library of maps controlled by the map transfer tool, hence my suggested bypass. Although it does appear to have a code:

  8. That sounds great! Much between that counting boxes in the Debugger and trying to work out the order for the sub task after the first one: 1 2 3 4 5 or 1 2 4 3 5 etc. And then having worked that out, closing it and then opening the event / condition to work on say the fourth sub task. This plus the "reverse look up" option would be a great outcome.
  9. Sorry I was unclear. I understand they are sub tasks / events/ ... all of which need to be satisfied before the overall item is satisfied. What I'm hoping for is something like: Event 16 has 5 sub-conditions something like (doubtful due to space constraints): In the Debugger you have an indication of: - Trigger 2 - Event 5 - Red Condition 2 - Condition 3 - Event 25 As a result, if the 4th check box is not checked you know that "Condition 3" hasn't been satisfied.
  10. I may have posted this previously and it maybe part of the Ver 5.x "rebuild", but .... Is there a possibility that we will be able to "audit" Triggers, Events and Conditions and find out where they are used? I'm currently revising / rebuilding someone else's work and unfortunately there are Triggers, Events and Conditions that may or may not be redundant. Is it possible to add a "Used by ..." button somewhere on here (or the new format), for Events Conditions and Triggers? The Debugger is great for telling me if an Event or Condition is satisfied, but I have no idea what the small sub check boxes relate to: And of course there are similar "full" screens for the other parties too.

  12. You can do this via a work around: - Place IEDs. - Set to detonate at H>0. - Run the Mission. - Wait for explosions. - Do a "In progress save". Use that In progress save file as your new scenario baseline. Using that approach you can drop bridges, demolish / damage buildings, etc. The bigger the IED, the bigger the crater / damage:

  14. In RL sure, but this isn't intended to be a "tank driving sim". I'm not aware of any "first parade" or "halt parade" mod or similar (in part because this would vary between vehicles).

  16. AFAIK, the license you bought is limited to the version you had. That is, your license allows you to run the version you had in 2012, not the current 4.379. Given the 2012 time frame, before the introduction of time based licenses, then yes you need the dongle as the dongle contains your licensing information. If you want to use 4.379: - Then "yes" you need to buy a new license. - If you want a permanent license that you can move from machine to machine, yes you need the dongle. - If you want a time based license linked to a specific machine, there is no need for a dongle, but the license is not enduring (duration depends on which one you purchase).   18. Can you perhaps not use civilians but achieve a "civilian like" effect using using Infantry? This is an FO Team but with options to: Discard weapons if H>0 and "set look of Infantry" changed: Pretty sure they aren't "blind". 240311 Test of FO party.sce

Hi, You may have tried this already, but assuming the civilians are "GREENFOR" (or a non Blue or Red colour) you could have them trigger events when (disregard the "engine off bit"): or Where "anywhere" is replaced by the NAI the spotters are looking at / operating in. You can add some dynamics to this too with say GREENFOR initially allied to Blue but becoming "enemy if ..." Blue does something silly - shoots at a location of cultural significance, indirect fire into an urban area, etc. This will also mean that while GREENFOR wont show up on the map, you'll have background "pattern of life" in the 3D world (that is Blue will need to report it).
