  1. I have the client versions for all four, if that helps?
  2. Did you happen to open it in the Editor and see if the NVG option was "on" or "off" (perhaps they did that on purpose)?
  3. How is that party at your end? Lots of "shunning" and "unshunning" here for her (and we didn't get a four day weekend either).
  4. Except depending on the real map, most are 5m or 10m. So if you want the map to look "right" you need to stay there. At 2m it becomes a sea of contours and you can't "see" the terrain features.
  5. As a "four out of four" veteran: Sleep is for the dead. Maybe see you in Frankfurt next year. Oh and Ronin, my ammo truck guy and the ARV commander are sending you the bills for the panel beating after your last visit. Now for Round 2 with the Sovereign's celebrations!
  6. Well 0330 - 1400 was definitely worth it! This, the conclusion of the T-72 Campaign, the re run of Brave Rifles with BG ANZAC, Zipuli's upcoming BG level mission and the "re boot" of the ADF Campaign ... Who said there's a lack of multiplayer / big battle opportunities?
  7. So the T-72 Company one is "over"?
  8. Sorry for the delay. Well BG ANZAC (with a couple of visitors from the UK) had a crack at the initial Brave Rifles Mission. As I'd been down this road before, I commanded but with a lot of delegation so the Platoon commanders had a fair bit of freedom in terms of locations, etc. All said they enjoyed it and can't wait for next Thursday to have a crack at Mission #2 (as adjusted). AAR: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/19518131/BRAVE%20RIFLES%20Cam_053112MACBOOKPRO1952.aar There maybe scope for us playing some of the later, larger Missions at a more convenient timeframe for the UK guys (probably Sunday morning for them, Sunday evening for us) but that isn't locked in. Once again, well done Zipuli!
  9. Weird. Should have been alright. Anyway is going now on the 58.173.x.x address. I think there are a few mutually exclusive scenarios here: 1. You want to put the dongle in "a" machine (lets call it a "License Server") that you can access and use SB from when away from home. This also minimizes possible damage to the dongle. - This needs the port forwarding setup to access the license from the license server and the codemeter software on your laptop setup to use the "external"/WAN IP address of the router. - This will also allow you to access SB while "at home" (inside the router) without reconfiguring the port forwarding (as port forwarding doesn't apply to "internal traffic"). 2. You want to access the license from the "License Server" but use this second machine as a "Network Session Client" to an external "Network Session Host" machine. - This needs the port forwarding set up so the traffic is forwarded to the "Network Session Client" not the "License Server". 3. If you want your non server machine to act as a "Network Session Host" then again you need the port forwarding setup to "point" to that machine. Short of buying a stackable router and sending IP4 traffic to one address and IP6 to another (or somesuch), I don't think you can have the SB network traffic moving through the router being directed to/from two different machines. Personally I think the easiest option is to move the dongle as required and change the port forwarding to which ever machine needs it. Happy to be proven wrong though.
  10. OK well just proved my worth as a staff officer. Managed to shape my boss to give me leave for tomorrow (Sunday's) part of the O Gp since I had a 2hr speaking part today. Bottom line. I can now attend "021800Zjun12" and will be lurking in the FUP hoping to grab any opportunity rides that may become available (will check the staffing tables once I get home and can access the entire Internet - as opposed to the Defence approved sub set from this machine).
  11. Well port forwarding doesn't apply to "internal" traffic (i.e. other machines on your LAN) since that traffic is only to/from the dongle machine's (server or otherwise) internal IP address. Hence why in a network session using only machines on your internal network you don't need to put an address in the IP box. The session searches the LAN for the dongle. Port forwarding only comes into effect to forward traffic from "outside" through the Router to the relevant "internal" address.
  12. Doug, Well its running now (is up 24/7). IP address as per earlier (not there at the moment so don't have easy access) and should still be in Teamspeak "chat" window.
  13. Latest 1CAD info (just in case you haven't linked up yet): http://www.steelbeasts.com/sbforums/showthread.php?p=214709#post214709
  14. Yes. Except you don't create additional forwarding (that would create havoc with the same ports being forwarded to two different addresses). Just edit the existing port forwarding to replace the laptop's static IP address with the "server's" static IP address.
  15. Its only TCP/IP not particle physics, follow the rules and it works.
  16. Yes, if you know your external IP address. Of course if "somewhere else across the Internet" means behind another Router, you need to setup port forwarding on that Router too.
  17. It also means that they can make one version of the software (32Bit) that can be run by people running a whole range of Windows versions from XP through to Windows 8 without needing to support multiple versions or forcing people to upgrade their OS (and in no doubt lots of cases, their computer too) just to run a 64Bit version.
  18. Does the Marder have line of sight? If it can't see it can't shoot (regardless of what the F5 / map view may suggest).
  19. Sorry what "name"? Does your Router offer port forwarding as some sort of "service" or "application" basis as opposed to the "usual" table where you just open specified ports and direct them to an IP address? Is there some other button called "apply" or "update", etc. to make these changes take effect? As you have not told us anything about the type of Router, etc. I'm pretty much guessing. I'm assuming you have given your machine a static or fixed IP address to begin with?
  20. Will see what I can do but that pretty much means I have to do the FRAPES recording and be CO.
  21. I suspect that to get a consistent frame rate of 50 - 60 with "good" graphics settings, you have spent your $500 (presumably US) just on the graphics card.
  22. Sure, First question do you still have "Airport Utility" 5.6 or earlier (the old setup with the devices listed in a column on the left and the settings on the right) or do you have the newer one with the picture of the globe for internet access and a wire diagram of your network? The screenshots vary.
  23. Excellent timing! The guys in BG ANZAC did mission 1 last night and having the "revised" mission 2 will fit into the plan to play it next week. BTW, Zipuli lots of positive feedback from the guys last night.
  24. Purchase of second dongle, possible? Yes. Cost: No idea, but I suspect as it would let you run a second copy of the game totally indepoendent of the main dongle (I don't think both dongles can each have the same license), it may well cost the full price. One for Nils / Ssnake. Purchase of secondary licenses for your existing dongle, possible? Absolutely, mine has eight on it. Cost: I think US$25 per extra, but again check with Nils / Ssnake.
