  2. Hey a quick question. I using this map in a scenario and I was playing around with the terrain type (woodland summer etc.). Now I arrived at the conclusion that I was going to use the original one but I don't know which one it was exactly. I think it was something with woodland but there are many options. Do you know this and could help me out?
  3. Now you're looking at one part of the puzzle. How easy it is to change that might be another question. Currently the acess to gunsights are the same on all tanks, if you wanted to change that you might need to change a whole bunch of things to not brake it on every other vehicle. It's a universal control logic I think and not indiviudal for every tank.
  4. I can’t tell you what to think or not of course, but from what I understand of the Steel Beasts logic it makes perfectly sense. On vehicles in which the gunner can switch between the TIS and the GPS without having to place his head in a new position (or in other words in vehicles where the GPS and the TIS are essentially the same sight complex) it can be toggled with Num +. On vehicles where this does not apply it needs a different keybind. Right now on every vehicle the GPS can be accesed with F2, the auxiliary sight with F3, any potentially periscope with F4 and now with the T-72B3 the GPS alternative with SHIFT + F2. Makes perfect sense in my opinion.
  5. It is unified with the rest of the vehicles as is. Num + is the keybind to turn the GPS from thermal to daysight. On the T-72B3 you need to use a different sight. You need to take of your eyes from the GPS to use the TIS. That’s standard for Steel Beasts as is.
  6. A11 or A12 depending on Assassin and Badger. Any other tank spot is also good for me should both of them show up.

  8. Unfortunately there’s no solution to that. This sight does not have a reticle illumination.
  9. If you’re looking through the main gun sight and are in daysight mode, press „R“ for reticle illumination.

  13. When you create a route, the speed the unit will travel following that route is dependent on what „tactic“ your route is set to. As an example, should you choose the tactic „attack“, your route will automatically be set to speed „top“. Any unit following that route would automatically travel with speed „top“. If you place a route for a unit it should normally just follow that route. Meaning as soon as the last waypoint has been set, the unit will start moving. Obvisouly you can change the speed to whatever you prefere but there is a „default speed“ for every type of route.
  14. There should be an 11 seconds cool-down for the laser range finder after overheating it. (On the Leopard 2) Currently this doesn't appear to work properly in multiplayer sessions. There's a chance the laser starts to fail completely. Has been this way for a while now.
