  1. Hi There try "A Troop Leaders War" By Bill Bellamy it could be hard to get hold of but is worth the look. Also any of the books written by Ken Tout. "Tanks", "Tanks Advance" or "To Hell With Tanks" all based on true accounts during WW2. Irish Mente et Manu
  2. Hi Guys first im sorry for not posting this on Ronner.net but I dont have the log on details on this machine. I will be unable to join in this Sunday (17 Jun 07) as unfortunatley my father in law died today and I have take my wife over to Germany to arrange the funeral details. I will be back for more next week. Irish
  3. Hi Snake for many years I have been led to believe that the rarden cannon, fitted to both warrior and scimitar is capable of upto six round bursts. I do agree that a certain amount of accuracy would be lost however it is regulary practiced during firing camps. Irish
  4. Stalin you will have to post a lot more before the tide has turned on this site. LOL Irish
  5. Point taken about the bike. Its a shame as the idea for that site is good however any attempt at sensible discussion seems to be swamped by the drivel some are posting there. Irish
  6. Hi once again KT and once again excellant work. Have you tried using black for the C/S boards. This may not be authentic for a 2RTR vehicle but it is used widely by other regiments. If you have ever saw CR1 pics from Gulf War 1, all the vehicles from 7 Armd Bde with white C/Ss were Scots DG and the vehicles with black C/Ss were the QRIH. Keep up the good work Irish
  7. Hi Charlie yeh I saw your post I did not have any problems with that. My question was answered by KT, the way the posts in that thread run it could be taken by the layman that all the Screenshots are from Steelbeasts. I might add that I have no intention of playing Armed Assault or Operation Flashpoint however credit must be given to the graphics being employed as the CR2 and Scimitar models are the best that I have seen sofar. Irish
  8. Hi all I just came across this thread on The British Army Rumour web page. http://www.arrse.co.uk/cpgn2/Forums/viewtopic/t=14568.html Im not really bothered about what they have to say but could anyone enlighten me as to where or what program the screen shots of the Challenger 2 and the Scimitar have been taken from?? Irish
  9. Hi KT I can understand your confusion. At the moment I do not believe that the British Army has a working standard to the way it marks the C/S on its tanks. I am open to correction on this but from past experience it was only standardized at Regimental level with a few exceptions, that direction came down from Brigade. I too was surfing the net today to find suitable pictures that could be used as reference for your CR 2 skin/template. Unfortunatley I could not find anything that was simple, informative and accurate. Perhaps the best source of an accurate template could be from a model kit ie Tamya or Revell. keep up the good work ps whilst you are in those stores of yours you need to look for a different signature board. QM ARRC Irish
  10. Excellant Idea Daskal even if it has been done before it won't hurt to remind us of how our ugly comrades in arms look like. LOL Darlington, County Durham, England
  11. KT Im having problems with the registration process if you can get on TS now could you take me through it?? Irish
  12. Hi Zip that sounds excellant. Without wanting to cheat could you email the mission up front as it could save time on the boring planning. I would also like to introduce some very basic voice proceedure. If we cover a few prowords at a time ie "a little often" it will not only make comms easier but will sound much more proffessional and therefore more enjoyable. Once again looking forward to Sunday Irish
  13. Hi Zip thats a really cool video youv'e made, could I for one ask if you could please keep producing them as the format you have chosen really shows what the A.R.R.C is about. My only question is, when did this battle take place was it after I went to my sleeping roll or was it made during the afternoon either way Im looking forawrd to taking part again next week. All the Best Irish
  14. Well done KT I'll be there next Sunday 17.50hrs sharp. Irish
