We get some nice action of modern equipment now. To me it looks like western tanks blow up just as nicely as the "Russian junk" though the Russian stuff is a lot cheaper. a2GR-g9777k Gives a whole different perspective on the mighty M1. Even though it doesn't have the uranium armor but still no match for the 9K111 Fagot.

Face it, they had good soldiers TOO. Today, the German army is nothing more than a joke.
(I'm German btw)
When I look at your avatar, I smell a bit haughtiness. What a nice copied Kaiser Wilhelm mustache you got there Euer Durchlaucht...
@Snake
The depth of the simulation of ammunition and of course other things is more than I expected from this training software actually.
I almost fell from my chair when I saw the round disappearing in the BRDM and a turret got blown off behind it. lol
In most sims a round that hit a target will just disappear even if it would have been capable of going through the target.
In ArmA2 you would never be able to hit a BRDM and Jeep with one round.
And I can't bitch about the way the ballistics are simplified in SB2. They are still far more advanced than in other PC software I know of.
Deflecting would be the the icing on the cake but when I look on all those requests, I can imagine how busy you are lol...
Yap, the round hit both vehicles in the side. Right side of the BRDM and left side of the T72. I just wondered that the round still flew straight as it went through the BRDM. It didn't change trajectory at all on the 100m on its way to the T-72 when I look at the AAR.
Yesterday I played a bit around with the M1A1 Gunnery Tutorial where you have a commander assigning targets for you. My commander slewed the turret on a T-72, the loader put a M829A1 in the breech and suddenly as I fired a BRDM drove into my M829A1 round destroyed the BRDM went the whole way through it and blew off the turret of the T-72 approximately 100m behind the BRDM destroying it too. Is this round capable of slicing through a BRDM and still have the power to penetrate T-72 armor?
Thank you Daskal! I love your sound mods. I think I know you way back from T-72 Balkans on Fire.
It would be cool if you would pack all your sounds for the M1 into one big package instead of having a number of zip files for different sounds. Now it's already confusing with all the sound packs available in the download section. I miss your fantastic .50 caliber, engine start up and external rumble sounds in your latest pack.
I really would like to join but I think I'm too shy to speak English with even non native English speakers...
Years ago I played VBS1 with some French and Belgium guys but couldn't really communicate.
Thanks Homer, I just subscribed to the esimgames newsletter. And I would like to know if we can purchase the new copy plus printed manual without having a credit card? I'm living in Germany btw.
