  1. I've had success in some games with disappearing cursors (lately Armored Brigade) by checking/unchecking mouse visibility options while the game is running. Not experiencing the issue at the moment so can't say if it's a workaround, but might be worth a try.
  2. from the whois lookup, it appears the domain expired and was soon snapped up: Domain ID: D83375302-LROR Domain Name: TANK-NET.ORG Created On: 06-Feb-2002 01:58:22 UTC Last Updated On: 08-Feb-2013 16:07:26 UTC Expiration Date: 06-Feb-2014 01:58:22 UTC Sponsoring Registrar: PDR Ltd. d/b/a PublicDomainRegistry.com (R27-LROR) Status: CLIENT TRANSFER PROHIBITED Status: AUTORENEWPERIOD Registrant ID: PP-SP-001 Registrant Name: Domain Admin Registrant Organization: PrivacyProtect.org
  3. I recall the exact same arguments on here 3 years ago - except replace 7 with XP and 8 with 7. BTW, who's still using XP?
  4. This is THE single reasons I will now be upgrading. I have very limited "game" time and planning AND executing was just too much. Now...I'm back in control. A great improvement as a learning aid too boot.
  5. Hi Rinch, I detailed the steps I took to get SB PE instralled on my vista machine (3 years ago, really?). Take a look here: http://www.steelbeasts.com/sbforums/showthread.php?t=9179&page=2
  6. IIRC, any machine bought prior to last Christmas (I don't recall the exact date) with an OEM Vista install, will be eligible for a fee Windows 7 upgrade. That was to stop buyers, well, not buying.
  7. I have the Beta running on Windows 7 (will be installing the upgrade tonight). I think you are right in stating Win7 will be the final replacement for XP. I was a fan of Vista but Win7 is something else...(to paraphrase) it just works.
  8. Mine came yesterday too. Yesterday was my Wedding Anniversary, haven't opened it yet...thought best not to
  9. Nothing, again, this morning! The Royal Mail is so random...no wonder they're in so much shit.
  10. So as long as you've got the dongle, you can upgrade.
  11. And, please, please, please add the crewable vehicles to the scenario description
  12. Lol, future proof? And there was me thinking Macs had obsolescence built in: the "coolness" expires around about the time of the next Macworld keynote. Regardless, I think there are other threads on this forum mentioning successful Mac/boot camp/parallels installations.
  13. Ale, warm, flat and brown. Perfect with a good pitch at the the cricket (and cucumber sandwiches with the crusts cut off). LOL
