  1. Yes. All 'engineering' obstacles can be labelled now (and in green font color, to boot). So the green rectangles are the (empty) labels of the non-selected emplacements, while the gray rectangle is the textbox for the currently active emplacement..
  2. That's a very nice addition, thanks! Note that also the 3-strand wire obstacles can be placed in the execution phase - the catch is though that a single vehicle is unlikely to carry all three required rolls (maybe one of the AEV vehicles does, I'm not sure) so you have to have multiple vehicles carrying wire in the vicinity of the desired placement site. Also for the 2 and 3 strand wires, the build process should be somewhat visualized.. first the vertical poles would go up, then the wire strands would be placed one after the other You might also have noticed that some vehicles actually carry wire on them (ie it's rendered) - like the AEVs and the Leo 2A5DK. We at most render two sets of wires (even if the vehicle itself carries more) however. Over time more and more vehicles will gain that functionality
  3. There's also the problem that quite a few vehicles feature interlocks that negate all turret movement once the driver has his hatch open, so SOP would be for the driver never to look outside (and let's not forget that SB is supposed to model combined arms combat so again the driver wouldn't be very likely to peek out, even on 'march' orders). Of course that's offset somewhat by allowing for the limited views we can render/represent compared to RL so a little cheating might be allowed..
  4. I'm wondering what 'flight height' you set for them?
  5. Hmm if the vehicle is being clicked on (ie just selected) or if it's (even ever so slightly) moved? The latter would be a feature, not a bug. You can make the infantry units stay in place by assigning them a tactic (for example 'stay') - then you should be able to move the parent vehicle without the infantry units moving along with it..
  6. You don't need 'engineer' type infantry, but you need an infantry unit in the vicinity of the wireobstacle-to-be-constructed, otherwise no progress will be done..
  7. Yeah the M60 has so many sights and 'interesting' spots that it blew past all our (long established) design assumptions so you'll see some issues like these.. As for the M1s: it's just that with the large number of vehicles we had to prioritize things, so the decision was made to have first of all the externally visible crewmembers (TC, loader) present. Since the M1 gunner can never unbutton they were of lesser importance and hence placed later in the to-do list and we (well, VM) simply ran out of time - they'll be added for sure later on.
  8. Wonder if you could upload or link to that scenario?
  9. Could you please start it using the 'debug' shortcut (in the SB start menu) and upload the resulting 'debuglog.txt' file (in the 'logs' folder)? Hopefully that will give a clue
  10. Thanks the first one was already fixed (but not in time for the release) Second one shouldn't happen
  11. I actually tried to repro but could not. I wonder if for some reason your 'N' key is the same as the 'override' key (so maybe you're in control of the gun as well as the binoculars)?
  12. I wonder if there's a way for you to upload some of these dmp files (be sure to put them into a .zip or .rar archive; they should compress a bit I think)
  13. That's the point the image processing system is actually using to track the target (IRL some hard edge or something). In SB it's usually just center mass of the target.. There's no documentation for it yet hopefully we'll get something rudimentary in the wiki but documenting the whole thing would be a major effort..
  14. You mean the playback buttons? Or the ones on the little dialog box popping up?
  15. I guess you are playing in fullscreen mode?

    The ADE 651

..this makes me just despair about humanity The ADE 651 is a fake bomb detector that was produced by ATSC (UK), which claimed that the device could effectively and accurately, from long range, detect the presence and location of various types of explosives, drugs, ivory, and other substances.
  17. Both the SB installer and the executable are digitally signed. I wonder if one could make the AV SW vendors add them to some kind of whitelist so that this stuff doesn't happen..
  18. Sigh I guess I'm too dumb to attach images in this fine forum
  19. Well if you've got the $$$ there's obviously no way around the AFVSim handles..
