AFV Fair Matchup

This page lists the playable AFVs that are considered to be a "fair matchup" against each other. This list is intended for scenario designers to create more balanced head to head scenarios, it is by no means a comparison list of which is the best AFV.

Note that you can mix and match AFVs from different periods and still end up with a somewhat balanced fight as long as the older vehicle is given newer ammunition (in most cases, it would be required to give it even better ammunition than it should have for that period), or balance can be achieved by increasing the quantity of the older vehicle by at least a factor of 2. Also note that one side can completely outclass the other, but in that case "balance" has to be achieved by having a very low tolerance for losses before the mission ends (like after 40% losses, which is realistic in western doctrine). However this page deals specific with a vehicle to vehicle based matchup.
