Category:Anti-Tank

The Anti-Tank category is a catchall for a wide variety of platforms specifically intended to engage and destroy armored vehicles. These consist of both dedicated anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) carriers along with various direct-fire systems such as towed anti-tank guns, so called “tank destroyers”, and recoilless rifles. Generally defensive in nature, the majority of these vehicles are designed to fire from the defilade, with the vehicle's body hidden behind cover and only the weapons system and sights exposed.
