General

The MOWAG Eagle IV is a 4x4 light reconnaissance vehicle in service with the Danish (2006) and German (2008) armies. Though related by name and function to the Humvee based Eagle I-III, the Eagle IV is a new vehicle built on the MOWAG Duro IIIP chassis offering improved payload, better armor, and greater mine resistance. Though normally unarmed, this vehicle may optionally be equipped with either the Lemur or generic 0.50 Cal RWS remote weapon stations.

This vehicle is crew-able at the Commander's (F7), Gunner's (F6 if equipped with a RWS), and Driver's (F9) positions, but only partially modeled with basic interior views.

The dismount section for the Eagle is 2 dismounts/scouts, equipped with M136 (AT-4) anti-armor weapons and 5.56mm rifles. Please note that selecting the UGV or UAV option for this vehicle will (even though offered in the mission editor) not make either available during a mission.

Beginning with revision 4.156 the Eagle IV may be equipped with the Diehl Active Vehicle Protection System (AVePS) to enhance protection against RPG and ATGM threats.
