General

The M88A1 is a medium, fully tracked, armored vehicle, that performs towing, hoisting, and winching operations in the rescue and recovery of combat vehicles. At present this and the Wisent ARV are the only vehicles in Steel Beasts that may tow other vehicles.

Hitching Vehicles

For the M88 to "hook up" insure that you select the option from the vehicle icon (small hull in lower right corner, with right click).
Selecting the "Tow Vehicle" command
Then with the green cross now visible, hold it over the unit you wish to "tow" and left click (the name will appear if the vehicle is in the range for towing). If you back up to the unit you want to hook up to it's easer to drive away, the "tow cable" is not yet visible (maybe in a subsequent software release).

The distance from the towed vehicle is about 50ft. so keep that in mind when moving around, you'll also notice that your speed is reduced.
Selecting the vehicle to be hitched
To unlatch the towed unit, go to the "hull" icon again and select the "unlatch/unhook" option.
