Steel Beasts Professional provides squad-leaders, team-leaders, individual soldiers, vehicle drivers, and vehicle commanders with basic night-vision devices (night-vision goggles [NVG]) accessible from the F7 view (F9 for Drivers) using the n key to toggle. Note that NVGs must be assigned to individual units in the Mission Editor:
NVG views are only available under conditions of darkness and consist of an un-magnified 4.3° field of view roughly equivalent to that of the second+ generation AN/PVS-7B under moonlight conditions. Currently Steel Beasts Professional does not model generational differences in night-vision quality at the individual user level.
