General
The Piranha Fusilier is a variant of the Piranha IIIC specific to the Belgian armed forces which entered service in 2008 along with the DF30 and DF90 direct-fire infantry support vehicles. The Piranha Fusilier is armed with the ARROWS M2S remote weapons' station. Although externally modeled with a stalk mounted PILARw acoustic gunshot detection system, this system is non-functional.
All crew stations (driver (F9), gunner (F6), commander (F7), and squad leader (F11)) are modeled and may be occupied by the player.
The dismount section for the Piranha Fusilier is 8 men, carrying 2 AT-4 light anti-armor weapons, an M60E mg, and 5.56mm rifles.
Beginning with revision 4.156 the Piranha Fusilier may be equipped with the Diehl Active Vehicle Protection System (AVePS) to enhance protection against RPG and ATGM threats.
