General

The T72M4 is a former Warsaw Pact T-72M or T-72M1, used by the Czech Republic, upgraded with a British Perkins condor CV12-1000 engine, American Allison XTG-411-6 transmission, and Italian fire control system and thermals. The fire control system is nearly identical to the one found in the Centauro, with independent commanders sight, thermal imager, and such.

To enhance survivability the turret and hull have been fitted with the indigenous developed DYNA reactive armour suite, a laser detection system, and a modern fire suppression system.
