  1. Pretty cool... not sure how your doing all that. Where are you getting those camera views and order issues with the 3/4 top down view? What's voice attack? all new to me. Interesting. NEVERMIND, you answered my questions in your you tube description.
  2. Hey tankers, Here's a short and pretty rough and ready video i made earlier today of some SB "RTS" style gameplay. I'm really enjoying playing this way at the moment and its great to jump in and out 1st, 3rd and RTS views to mix up the gameplay experience! Apologies for the black box around the video itself, i'm still getting to grips with OBS Studio and producing vids in general, this is only my 5th ever!!! Lol! Let me know what you think? Cheers!
  3. This is #1 on my list of suspicious things... But i never changed any input in between 4.013 and latest 4.161. (if my memory serves me) I use latest SB pro, clean installation and i use X55 Saitek HOTAS without throttle quadrant in this case, and in combination with Track IR and Voice Attack. Everything else i have trie din past few hours worked, issue is with this input from joystick, and even that is weird because pressing P key does the trick, but not pressing the joystick button itself despite it working 24h ago. Reverting everything to default, didnt helped, that same button again assigned to Dynamic Lead for Gunner in Leo 2 stops the turred dead in its track, like i tried to hold same button in Abrams. Effect is identical - no traverse or elevation. Im confused as hell...

  5. Here's my profile. I'd love to receive feedback to make it better, more realistic or add functionality for future versions. SBProPE Voice Attack Profile v1 by Yassy.rar
  6. well lasso selection is too problematic maybe to make. Nothing you cannot do very fast with shift + quick square selections. Of course I understand the limitation of time but I think these quick selection hot keys, color for groups (understand that maybe are other army colors around, so could be done a marquee color around the units to identify them, preserving the main color of them), would make the sim more visual playable and make decisions better. of course it would be caotic if the tools are not corrected. The right menus will be still there, but imagine you have the option to have those right-mouse options with hotkeys you select. You learn those selection keys (or just give assignations to voice attack program) and then with group hotkey selection selects your units and make quick movements in the map. we don't have to be Koreans, but these guys with the right tools can be very fast. Maybe not good strategical but for sure they don't waste time giving orders. But for sure, yes!! Starcraft is a very total different type of game, but do the group selection and task very well.
  7. Older but exciting video of someone using a voice control program, Glovepie, with SB. Now Glovepie’s EULA interdicts its use for military simulators, so I only show this as an example of how voice recognition can increase immersion enormously ! Guess I will definitely try Voice Attack
  8. I didn't mean paying the $40.00 for SB, I already have the lifetime license ($125). I was referring to buying Vorpx for SB, if I knew it worked it would relieve some tension buying it. Also, I have Voice Attack which is a great voice recognition software designed to push keys on command with my voice, so that's not an issue there, plus I have the CH Fighterstick, Pro Throttle. Which all together has.. 39 buttons, so that combined with Voice Attack should be good enough for anyone. When it comes down to target ID, I mean, I've been using the Rift for a long time, and I see no issues with IDing my targets, especially in the M1A2 since that has a massive zoom function, if I need to scan at a distance I'll simply zoom in. I understand eSim did not make this simulator for VR and even if they wanted to add VR there's too much in the way (finances, etc) but since I have DCS World for VR, I really would like a tank simulator in VR as well, that would give me tank warfare and aircraft warfare in a 3D realistic surrounding. Of course Arma 3 would never go VR so the infantry simulation will always be stuck on a monitor.. But that's just my wish for SB..

  10. NOTE: for those not familiar with Voice Attack - it is very versatile PC voice control software created by a gamer for gamers. I use Voice Attack with Elite Dangerous all the time. It is especially useful when used with a HOTAS control system. Never have to touch the keyboard - ever. I'm thinking of building a profile for SB but figure some may already have done so. If so what is your experience with it and SB? Is it worth the effort to put a profile together (not hard - might take 30 minutes)? Does it add to the immersion factor. If I put one together it would primarily be for vocal commands the TC would issue to the gunner, driver and loader. What say you - what is your experience using VA with SB?
  11. Anybody have any please? Cheers!
  12. Im happy owner of Saitek X-55 I couldnt hit 30 kph moving tank at 1200m with old Thrustmaster due to low ( 8 bit ) axis response curve..With this new baby - anything that moves and thermal sights can pick up it is dead within 2 secs! Combined with Track IR and Voice Attack ( where you can configure things and literary shout orders to your crew) it is new dimension of same core game.

A simple voice attack profile for changing shape and size of formations using voice commands. Simple driver commands like "reverse, roll out, driver stop, right, left" etc. You can also order the embarkation/loading of troops. Modify it as you see fit. Enjoy all!
  14. Can we have keyboard command for "Platoon, reload all"? Right now we can order reload if we click on platoon icon and then pick reload but there is no keyboard shortcut. (If there is i need a new pair of glasses,i checked list in game) If we would have shortcut for keyboard i could assign it to voice attack and make whole platoon stop & reload with simple "Platoon , reload!" voice command. This should be no big issue to add ( i guess )
  15. Aside: You may want to take a look at Voice Attack. Easy to use and create profiles for. Very, very powerful system and last time I checked it was selling for $8. http://www.voiceattack.com/ This is an excellent video that shows the power of the program. It'd work really well with SB I imagine. Speech Recognition in Gaming: Elite Dangerous with Voice Pack
  16. I have used TRackIR from years ago and in Sb it´s very very nice detail (THX Devs). Now you have free look (indoor/outdoor tank) for rapidly check instruments or observe (Tank Comander) from top of turret. The best thing is when you take binocs (binocs view automaticly stop TrackIR and you move binocks with stick or mouse - IMHO very good solucion. As BigBadVuk for all formation command I use Voice Attack software (7€ "versatile & powerful"). VA software it´s best quality price choice today for all simulators. Salu2
  17. If you can get stretched go for Track IR 5. It is more sensitive & precise then previous models and it will give you better control overall. Is it worthy money and is it good in SB? It is worthy of money ( my opinion, i use it for FSx, Elite, DCS, DayZ etc..). And it helps a lot in SB: For example you can look around and have turret override to where are you looking and no problem in maintaining your line of sight even while turret traverse rapidly. Looking left and right becomes natural thing. If you can - grab it for test from some1, try it , then decide on your own. P.S. If I may recommend voice command tool, go for Voice Attack - very versatile & powerful speech recognition module. Im using it with lot of games and it is incredible.
  18. I just checked it with voice attack and works with a combined keypress, checked it with alt+a for "gunner observe left" worked fine. My problem in the moment is, that every thrid or so command is not understood correct, absolut to much ... still some room for tuning the options, but nur shure at all, if this way will ever work as quick and secure like a keypress.
  19. Hello, I just tried out voice attack (http://www.voiceattack.com). The program uses your voice to generate a keypress to execute a command in game. It is really cool: I say "up" (oder "hoch" in german) an the commander gets a step up, like pressing "q". Works with all other Keycommands. Works best on my PC with keypress 0,2 and windows standard, not directx and i trained the Windows voice recognition a bit. Has anyone else tried this? Greetings Gottel
