  4. KANIUM SUNDAY 21st of July 1800 GMT - CG26 Akkadia by ChrisReb Where: Kanium TS : teamspeak3.i3d.net:10077 Hopefully we might have to use SB.com TS World Clock 1800 GMT (Same time as always - now adjusted for European Summer Time: click the time below for your local time) World clock 1800 GMT IMPORTANT NOTICE: This SB session may be recorded with video and sound and uploaded, including to a public youtube channel. Everybody is Welcome: you don't have to belong to Kanium. We love playing with you all, the arranger and CO loves you even more if you sign up in advance Excerpts of the battalion commander's orders for...CG026 Akkadia 0500 4th March 2009 1) SITUATION: a) Enemy: Akkadia's larger neighbour has taken advantage of its sponsored unrest in Akkadia to invade from the the North and West. Having drawn off much of Akkadia's defence force to the North it has outflanked them and advanced toward the capital. To complicate matters members of the Presidents family were ambushed in Bayliss and are understood to be hiding in the church. They were travelling in 2 cars. Enemy Commander and his security detachment are searching the area at this time. Enemy consists of a screen of Technicals, with infantry and suspected missile teams (AT3 Sagger only) in the Objectives and salient points (bridges etc). Total estimated 1 x Coy reinforced plus irregulars It is anticipated that no more than max 1 PLT of Inf is in each Obj with potentially 1 AT Team and given the area to be covered is likely to be less. Civilians in Allentown report enemy seems to be concentrated on area covering bridges over the Sakka and seem to be no more than 3 or 4 squads/teams A platoon of T72B1 is already committed East of the Sakka River. A further company plus of Tanks supported by BTRs is scattered further West of the AO and may be committed. Enemy will have indirect fire support (HE) b) Own: Task Force Blade consisting of 2 x PLT Leo 2A5A1 and 1 x PLT CV90 40B (Inf, LMG, Spike AT in even No. callsigns) with minimal CSS (Supply and Ambulance) support is available to you. Should you secure Baylis a further 1 x PLT of CV90 will be released to you should you want them and hopefully an ARV Command will try to land further Tanks but do not rely on this! c) Attachments and detachments: 1 Battery Fire support (HE and Smoke only) and 5 airstrikes available ALSO an offshore bombardment has been planned at +2.00mins to shield your initial move to the ringroad jump off d)A (Green controlled) UH-60 is available to evacuate the Presidents family should you be able to evacuate them by air rather than defend them in place. An LZ in Byliss has been marked on map. This will trigger without need for action by Blue 2) MISSION: Clear enemy forces from OBJ Allentown, Koesze and Bayliss (Bayliss MUST be held for 15 minutes to allow Presidents family to emerge from hiding and be evacuated or protected by your forces) YOU WILL RECEIVE MESSAGES TO CONFIRM ACHIEVEMENT OF EACH OBJECTIVE SECONDARY MISSION: Fugitives in church should come out of hiding once you secure bayliss. They must remain alive for maximum mission success irrespective of wether they are evacuated. Death of Enemy Commander will be a bonus, The fugitives have communicated his approximate position by mobile phone VICTORY: 1 of above achieved - DRAW 2 of above achieved - MINOR VICTORY 3 of above achieved - MEDIUM VICTORY 3 of above achieved and Presidents Family Survive - MAJOR VICTORY AND PROMOTION! 3) EXECUTION: Intent: Give a statement that defines the purpose of the operation a) Concept of Operation: You have 150 mins to secure all 3 objectives i) Maneuver: You may secure the Obj in any order ii) Fires: Support as above - whilst regrettable Indirect fire is permitted outside of Akkadia - locals have been warned to evacuate or take cover as best as we can, without alerting the enemy NB:There are at least 5 bridges suitable for tanks across the Sakka d) COORDINATING INSTRUCTIONS: Friendly Akkadian troops are holding the Ring Road around the City - GREEN ON MAP - but are not under your control 5) COMMAND AND SIGNALS: CO TF Blade controls commitment of available reinforcements (Trigger 1) These will appear in South of City near the Port 6) WEATHER LIGHT RAIN FORECAST ALL DAY - VIS 2500 m
  5. Everybody is Welcome: you don't have to belong to Kanium. We love playing with you all, the arranger and CO loves you even more if you sign up in advance Excerpts of the battalion commander's orders for... CG27 Innstadt 7th April 2015 0600h Steady rain Vis 25000m 1) SITUATION: a) Enemy: Enemy commanders have selected this rather remote sector to try a secondary push South. Intelligence suggests a Regimental Recon PLT moving ahead of 2x reinforced Tank Coy (T80) with potentially some BMP support. March discipline has been observed as slack so their approach is expected to be less than compact. Unfortunately given the lack of obvious roads the enemy route of advance is uncertain, As well has moving down through the AO enemy are also likely to sweep back through area Northwards to fully sanitise so beware of enemy forces bypasing you. Other scattered Recon vehicles may be in the area. The enemy already hold Innstadt and outlying farms and Industrial areas as marked on map. Best estimates suggest these forces consist of approximately a reinforced Tank PLT (T80) and 1 or 2 PLT inf and probably a missile team or two. The enemy HQ and its vehicles are thought to be in Innstadt b) Own: The early enemy advance has caught us on the hop during rearming and replenishment. Initially you have only 2 PLT Leo 2A6 and 1 PLT CV90-40B (Inf, LMG and 2 Spike Teams (MR) call signs 1 and 4) ready. 1 PLT Leo 2A6 are frantically completing their replenishment and hope to be ready in about 20 mins and B Coy are also making efforts to get a second PLT of CV 90B to you c) Attachments and detachments: You have 1 PLT organic CSS and 1 Battery (6 tubes) of indirect support (ICM HE and Smoke) 2) MISSION: Attack to defeat enemy forces between Phase Line BRONZE and GOLD to allow control of the area seizing and holding the 2 Objectives 3) EXECUTION: Key Tasks (in any order) 1. Stop initial enemy advance. 2. Seize enemy strongpoints to give us control of the road network for this area. Intent: a) Concept of Operation: Stop enemy moving through this area and secure its few roads for our own advance. You will first need to identify his axis of advance i) Maneuver: You have no time limit so you have no pressure to move too far forward with your limited force. As the remainder of the units come 'on line' you will have more forces to cover your frontage Splitting your initial force may be unavoidable to allow coverage of the frontage you are responsible for HOWEVER You should pay particular attention to not allowing yourself to be defeated in detail and be prepared to give ground i9f required to concentrate your combat power ii) Fires: 1 battery of 6 tubes dedicated to your mission (ICM, HE and Smoke) - Co A has control iii) Additional assets: 1 CSS (resupply , Medic and Recovery) An Observation Team has been infiltrated to the North to help locate enemy forces 5) COMMAND AND SIGNALS: CO A in command Signals No Change; as per unit SOP

  7. Kanium Sunday 17th of Sep 1800 UTC "Operation Gauntlet" by Swordsmandk Where: Kanium TS : teamspeak3.i3d.net:10077 World Clock 1800 UTC Everybody is velcome , though we recommend that new players contact Major Duck, Swordsmandk to get an intro to our use of TS and get setup and get a small get familiar session sometime before the scen as it can be a very very steep learning curve to play multiplayer compared to single player. Its our experience that most new players hang around much longer with that approach and most learn something new that way. We have no requirement for participants to be a member of our VU(Virtual Unit) and you can be a member of other VU's and still play with us or to participate on any number of games etc..., we have a rule that says that your only velcome when you want to play and remember family is more important then the game. 1) SITUATION: a) Enemy: ENY attack in direction of the BERG RAILYARD has been slowed and ENY losses are high. We estimate ENY will attempt a flaking move south along R375 to turn our flank. An ENY mixed BTN of T80, BMP2, Hinds and possible older equipment has been sigthed heading along that road. ENY will be supported by heavy artillery and electronic warfare units with jamming equipment. b) Own: Most of our defence have been focused on holding Berg Railyard. To the south along R375 we have TNK COY (-) with mech support to delay ENY advance towards MORSHYTTAN and the ROAD JUNCTION just north of it. We have more reinforcements comming in from the south but they will have to pass through the junction and MORSHYTTAN to be able to support our defence in the area. We have been unable to reach higher command due to HEAVY radio jamming, so essentially it is up to you as COY CO to delay ENY advance on MORSHYTTAN for at least 1,5-2 hours. Delay ENY advance while keeping casulties low. c) Attachments and detachments: - 2 x TNK PLTS STRV 122 + 2x CO/XO TNK (Reserve PLT can be called in from MORSHYTTAN only if 50% tnk Casualties have occured) - 1 x MECH PLT CV9040B with NLAWs and GUSTAVS - 1x RECON PLT CV9040B with GUSTAVS - 1x CSS PLT - 2x OFF MAP BTY 155 - 1x UAV - Engineer assets for pre planned obstacles + 1 PLT ENG with M136 AT + 1 Biber 2) MISSION: 1) Delay ENY advance on MORSHYTTAN and ROAD JUNCTION for at least 1H30M - 2H 2) Minimize Casualties and conduct mobile warfare when possible 3) Protect UAV (Keep it at range from ENY since its the only one you have) ROE: 1) Only recon units is allowed to deploy north of 48 2) NO artillery strikes north of FLOT is allowed 3) Game will end if either CO or GM ends it due to losses or capture of objective 3) EXECUTION: [Finally: The player's mission] SIGNAL: COY: 26000 A1 PLT: 46000 A2 PLT: 31000 A3 PLT: 33500 Note: This will be a multi crewing scen so find a partner to dance with
