We love playing with you all, the arranger and CO loves you even more if you sign up in advance Operation Livonian Freedom (DAY 2) by Apocalypse Based on the ArmA Universe FRAGO 1 I. Situation (CHANGE) Day 1 of fighting has left Livonian Defense forces suffering from significant casualties, and were reluctantly ordered by high command to retrograde from Topolin back towards Bialawa. This has allowed CSAT forces of the 24th Regiment to re-occupy the town with men and equipment. Likewise, the CSAT 24th Regiment also suffered significant casualties, suffered an estimate of 30% losses to their combat power. We currently assess the remaining defenders to be at approximately the strength of a Company Team (~4x tank PLT, 3x BMP PLT) with surviving artillery and air defense assets. Intelligence has also identified the potential presence of a new CSAT prototype tank, an import model from an CSAT allied-nation. Friendly: The first NATO forces have arrived to the battlefield: lead elements of the 7th Brigade Combat Team, a US-led armored company (E CO, 2nd BN), with mechanized infantry, artillery, and engineer attachments is now available for tasking II. Mission.(CHANGE) Attack to clear enemy forces from Topolin to allow freedom of movement for follow on forces, and restore civil authority and infrastructure (CHANGE 1) Be prepared to conduct pursuit to destroy enemy combat power beyond PL SILVER to the town of Adamow. III. Execution - (ADD) Key Tasks 1. Seize Topolin 2. Clear Enemy forces between PL GOLD and PL SILVER 3 (ADD). Be prepared to pursue the enemy beyond PL SILVER in order to destroy remaining combat power IV. Service & Support (CHANGE) Battalion Support assets have been relocated to Bialaw Farm, as part of the Battalion Tactical Command Post. The BN Unit Maintenance Control Point will still provide repair support to all vehicles that can be recovered. ===================================== ORIGINAL OPORD I. Situation CSAT forces have crossed the international border and seized the town of Topolin, and major population center in this region of Livonia. An enemy Battalion, consisting of T-80 tanks and BMP-2s are established in a hasty defense around the town of Topolin with light reconnaissance elements forward to provide early warning. A NATO Brigade Combat Team is assembling to the northwest, preparing for a major offensive operation. 2nd Battalion from the Livonian Defense Force is the tip of the spear; currently Anvil Company is set in a defensive position to the east in vicinity of Radacz, in order to protect the flank for the rest of the Battalion. Crusher and Beast Companies are set in the north, preparing to attack towards Topolin - to clear the way for the NATO Brigade.. Our Company is a part of the 5th Regiment of the Livonian Defense Force (LDF) and consists of 3x Tank Platoons, 1x Mechanized Infantry Platoon, 1x Recon Platoon (Scouts w/ ATGM), and an organic dismounted mortar platoon (AFV for transportation) II Mission. C Co, 5th Regiment attacks to clear enemy forces from Topolin to allow freedom of movement for follow on forces and to restore civil authority and infastructure. II Execution. Purpose The purpose of this operaiton is to seize key terrain and restore the international boundary. Key Tasks 1. Seize Topolin 2. Clear enemy forces between PL Gold and PL Silver End State Topolin cleared of enemy forces Friendly forces arrayed on PL SILVER; prepared to pass follow-on forces Enemy forces defeated or destroyed - unable to influence follow-on forces Minimal collatoral damage to civilian infrastructure or way of life. Fires: Organic, 3x 81mm mortars & Crusher FiST IV Service & Support Supply: Organic trucks Recovery: Organic, 1x ARV Repair & Healing can be done at the Battalion Unit Maintenance Control Point (10 seconds) - units must simply be recovered within the box.
