Connecting to a Network SessionHi, Me and my friend are trying to play SB together in a Network Session but struggle to set up our connections. Could anybody help us? We live in different countries and behind different routers. If you can please, answer the following questions: 1. Is it possible to connect and play together without external, 3rd party software such as Hamachi or All Seeing Eye? 2. What Local IP Address should we have set up in our in-game Options: (all available IPv4 only)? 3. Do we both need to forward TCP/UDP 2300 - 2400 & UDP 47624 ports? This is pretty much all that we can think of. It's difficult to find anything on the internet as SB is a very niche simulation. Please, help!
Virtual Private Networks
Lt DeFault posted a topic in Ground ZeroThere's a relatively new VPN service called ProXPN that allows you to pick an "exit node" from a list of servers in the following cities: Dallas Los Angeles Seattle New York City London Amsterdam Singapore This way, it will appear that your connection originates in the country of your choosing, effectively allowing you to bypass restrictions based on your locality.
