The community of armor enthusiasts has suffered one of the biggest possible losses today. Word has it that Jacques Littlefield has passed away. Mr. Littlefield was known in the armor world for the largest privately owned collection of armored fighting vehicles, especially MBTs. Only about half of his private collection could be turned over to his foundation yet. Let's hope that the collection will be kept intact. Mr. Littlefield probably was one of the few committed to the preservation of armored fighting vehicles of the 20th century - and certainly the only one with the financial means to actually go out, buy them, and restore them to pristine condition.
