Everybody is Welcome: you don't have to belong to Kanium. We love playing with you all, the arranger and CO loves you even more if you sign up in advance PPS. We will be playing on the new version 4.162 1. SITUATION a. Enemy. Motorized Rifle Battalion from the are defending the provincial capitol of Provinia with a Battalion that is estimate at ~70% strength), and composed of M-60 tanks and BMP-2s with support from Brigade enablers. b. Friendly. To our south, the 2nd Battalion is defending along the river, but have attached C Co (MECH) to our task force to support a hasty defense. The remainder of the BN is established in defensive positions, preventing the enemy freedom of movement in the southern portion of the city. C Co has also been outfitted with the AVEPS system to combat enemy RPGs and ATGMs. To our front, Battalion scouts have established a passage point in vicinity of the northern bridge in Kutali but have made contact with enemy forces across the river which are conducting counter-reconnaissance. Our BN Mobile HQ is established in Moda, to our east and brought its Unit Maintenance Control Point (UMCP) forward to support this operation (automatic repair/heal) 2. MISSION Attack to clear enemy forces from Provinia in order to allow freedom of movement for follow-on offensive operations. 3. EXECUTION a. Purpose. The purpose of this operation to clear enemy forces from our AO, the provincial capital in order to continue offensive operations to the East. b. Key Tasks 1. Clear enemy forces from Provinia. 2. Control Crossing Sites at BRONCO 3. Control Crossing Sites at COW. c. End State. 1. Enemy is defeated/destroyed; unable to continue offensive operations 2. Friendly forces postured along PL BRAVO; prepared to pass follow-on forces or continue operations 3. Provinia is cleared, and river crossing sites are controlled 4. Government activity can resume in the capital, and minimal collateral damage or disruption to civilian way of life d.     This is my first publich scenario. Situated in a Canadian/finish/northern Sweden like environment, in a mix of closed and canalized terrain with some farmland. Can be played as single (1 recon section, 2 Mekinf platoons and 2 Tk platoons, and morter and support) or multiple players. Tne concept is a deep Advance to contact, clean up and finally seize the objective in a industry part of city. Eny is a single forwarded force with heavy artillery support. Enemy is randomized and very responsive action to yours. I tried to make him proactive and tricky. Just to make it fun to replay. Further instructions in the briefing in the scenario. If maps are needed download Kingston maps. The Maps are build together with LEO MACDONNALD from CAN 1 armd div in the SB community. IF I GET 3 COMMENTS, PLEASE ADD YOUR IDEAS FOR A SCENARIO, I WILL MAKE A NEW SCENARIO. Pls issue any comment and enjoy the simulation. Be aware the mission is very difficult and very hard to achieve success in. The scenario has no politically or realistic intention or setup. a mix of old, new equipment, new zeeland APV, german tanks old and new russian and a bit of UK.
  4. Kanium Sunday 22nd of OCT 1800 UTC "Operation Ironhorse Stampede" by Apocalypse Where: Kanium TS : teamspeak3.i3d.net:10077 World clock 1800 UTC 1. SITUATION a. Enemy. The 774th Brigade Tactical Group (BTG) is established in a deliberate defense, in depth along the Akazi River with 2x BN's forward, and 1 in reserve. Each Battalion within the 774 BTG is composed of 9x Platoons of T80U tanks, 3x Platoons of BMP-3's, 1x Recon platoon (BRDM-2AT), 1x PLT of ZSU23/4, and 1x Platoon of 2S1 Artillery. Enemy forces also have mine and demolition capability - expect surface laid mines and be prepared to see blown bridges. b. Friendly forces will conduct an attack to defeat the 774 BTG, in order to allow friendly forces from 2nd Brigade to re-establish the international border. To the North, Team Apache will conduct an attack to fix the 2-774 BTG. Simultaneously, Team Kanium will attack to clear enemy forces along the Akazi River, and establish a foothold on OBJ BRAVO, in order pass elements from 2nd Battalion that will continue their attack to the East to defeat the 774 BTG . You have been provided with 1x Engineer platoon - although we do not assess a total destruction of all crossing sites - this will allow you additional mobility support Your Team has also been allocated 1x flight of Close Combat Aviation (2x AH-64 - 8x Hellfires) to establish an attack by fire position in the north) [TRIGGER by 66 or 65] 2. MISSION Team Kanium attacks to clear the 1-774 BTG between PL BLACK and PL GOLD in order to pass friendly forces for follow on operations. 3. EXECUTION a. Purpose. The purpose of this operation is to seize key terrain along the Akazi River, so that follow-on forces have freedom of movement. b. Key Tasks 1. Identify a suitable crossing site for follow on forces 2. Clear the 1-774 BTG 3. Seize OBJ BRAVO c. End State i. Terrain. OBJ BRAVO is seized ii. Friendly: Friendly forces are prepared to safely pass follow-on forces from 2nd Battalion. ii. Enemy: The 1-774 is cleared between PL BLACK and PL GOLD; unable to interfere with follow-on friendly forces. iii. Civilian: Minimal collateral damage and disruption to the civilian way of life. d.     I have just realised that some of the files were not the latest ones that I included inthe earlier pack. This is the proper version, with proper exterior movement sounds.
