Crusty
Let me get my crystal ball out.*Fumbles* Bollocks. Dropped it. Sorry mate, you're down to pot luck. As to getting there from Bisley. M3, A35, turn left at Bere Regis, there. Or arrange a Saturday visit and ask Crusty very nicely. *Something about getting the train back.* That might be possible as it's not far off the M3, I'm picking Tjay up somewhere on route, are you and Hoggy sharing a ride?

Knowing Hoggy it'll be sorted the night before.
Tacbat
Thanks for the tips Hedge. I'm just not sure about my schedule as of yet. I did make it there three years ago, but that was just the regular museum, not the "fest".

Funny the video brings back memories, not of Sherman or Tiger Tanks but of my first ever Basic Fitness Test (BFT) back in 1979 over the exact ground in the video. It was running track back then.
Crusty
I can just about remember that, I first visited the Tank museum in 1980, hopefully the BFT memories aren't too bad
Tacbat
Should be there tomorrow. Weather looks like it will cooperate. I wonder if Esim ever considered setting up a small booth there to showcase SB? Edited June 25, 2016 by Tacbat

Tacbat
Maybe we just need some eSim/SB shirts to wear around the event.

I always thought esim should have a small display stand in the gift shop. maybe just a video running on a loop showing what SB is all about Armortek had a couple of models on display the last time I was there. But I suppose the museum would want there cut.
Gibsonm
And who mans the stand? ITEC usually swallows up about 40% of the team. Pretty sure they are busy trying to get 4.0 out the door and you want to take people off that task to man a stand in Bovington? And they have to freight "the crate" over with the gear in the stand. Esp. given that they'll soon need passports, visas, etc.

A lot of merchandising company's use them and they sell them in the UK. And you have always needed a passport to enter the UK form Europe. Only visitors from Ireland coming to the UK from Ireland, did not need a passport. Edited June 25, 2016 by Marko

Didn't need a passport this may, ID-card was sufficient :-P

Tacbat
Good day, no rain and lots of tanks. It was interesting to see what they had in the "storage shed" awaiting restoration. Worth going.
