Damian90 Posted March 30, 2016 Share Posted March 30, 2016 So I found some interesting informations. It seems US Army works on new howitzer XM907 ERCA. This howitzer will become armament of both M109A7 and M777A2 systems. What is interesting is that development program aims not only for this new L52 howitzer, but also at development of autoloader, new propelant charges and new projectiles. It is said that XM907 ERCA maximum range will be around 70 km's. http://defense-update.com/20160329_m777er.html There is already a M777A2 mockup with L52 gun, used for mobility and static tests.
