SB Pro PE 4.0 - Discussion thread

Recommended Posts

Looking around at general attitude in gaming industry where everything can be released as "product" as long as the release date is not breached i must say that it is nice to see that Esim has the courage to delay the product if it is not good enough.

SO, June, July or August I dont mind at all , as long as it is bug free.

I have hopes that if the simulation don't have a catastrophic breaking bug maybe can be released and later a hot fix can solve the little issues left B| more knowing that always the software will be patched in some way between the "big upgrades" so I still vote for June 9_9 but of course if a big bug is still there it will be a no-go :S ps: and also because I want to fall back to normal life not fearing death before release and have a blast in my BMP-2 + T-72 +++ , word! :P

Well we aren't even 1/3 of the way through June yet - so I wouldn't panic just yet.

yep! We are still in the "green zone" of June ;)

Thats actyally a lot trouble... cause so much of cool stuff in mission editing vise is coming in 4.0 i confess it feels quite bit waste of time in certain kind of scenario's will be hugely affected by 4.0

can the wire be severed?

What about the wire droop (and resulting shorting out) over large bodies of water?

There is no real wire, just this short segment attached to the missile body.

Ah so no tanks with Sagger wires draped all over them. :)

No. Would of course also show the utility value of wire cutters, ... but like so often, you have to draw the line somewhere. I'd rather invest our efforts elsewhere.

What about rounds/rockets/missiles going through tree branches?

Played a scenario last week where a rifle squad had full protection from a platoon of tanks because our HEAT rounds kept detonating against the tree branches in front of them
