I was thinking that there could be two systems. The first would be this, using the CITV or some other Peri system to give the TC (and maybe loader?) the ability to look around from inside the tank. The TC could even have his CWS or an RWS slaved to his helmet so he could snap shot at infantry and such that he happens to spot. The second would be simply a helmet mounted sight to display a crosshair to the pilot while he has his head outside the tank.
