Marko
Where's the strangest place you have seen a AFV. For me I have seen A chieftain tank outside a garage in wales. And just last week i seen and a BRDM-2 used as a prop in Alton towers amusement park. I only seen this on TV but there's a guy who drives around London city in a bright yellow Abbott SPG. daskal
Let's see if you can top this - back in the 1980's (I'm living in Hungary - still occupied by soviet forces at that time) we used to have a T-55 (disarmed) as part of the childrend's playground. All the kids (including me) were all over it most of the time, and it was there to be used as part of the playground. No photos unfortunately, just my fading memories. But been hooked on tanks ever since. Couple of russian similar playgrounds: Edited July 19, 2016 by daskal

Invader ZIM
Sometimes we can see M1's getting hauled off to who knows where in various ways. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FUINGLVF-LM Sometimes it's neat to see the trains carrying a lot of armor to various parts of the U.S. usually for exercises, etc.

Members Ssnake
I liked the rumor where 50,000 UN troops were hidden in US salt mines, ready to take over the country on five minutes notice. a) that you could store troops infinitely in salt mines b) that the UN had some interest in invading the US c) that blue helmets would be chosen for that task d) that 50,000 were considered sufficient to subjugate an entire continent

Members Ssnake
Well, I suppose it was a scare to make people buy even more guns. Burt Gummer style.
