Gibsonm
Who is BG ANZAC? http://www.bganzac.org Described here: http://www.steelbeasts.com/sbforums/showthread.php?t=21753 A couple of examples of the BattleGroup at work: Multi Player session: Training session: So if you are interested, visit our web site http://www.bganzac.org and sign up. Timings: Thursday evenings, Australian time. The end of daylight saving on the east coast rationalises the times somewhat: Next meeting: 0900 GMT on Thursday, September 1st 1000 in London (BST) 1700 in Perth 1830 in Adelaide and Darwin 1900 in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Brisbane 2100 in Auckland http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?iso=20160901T0900 Count down: http://www.timeanddate.com/countdown/generic?iso=20160901T0900&p0=1440&msg=BG+ANZAC+Steel+Beasts+Session We continue the use of TeamViewer so people without the Steel Beasts software can connect and see and hear what we see and hear (looking over our shoulder if you like). http://www.teamviewer.com/en/index.aspx?pid=google.tv.s.au&gclid=CPLOveOGlcECFVgkvQodqk0A4g This maybe a suitable vehicle for people to see what the software is all about, without having to invest in even a short time limited copy. Anyway we'll see how it goes. Agenda: As always depends on sign ups but: 1. A Brief on a development proposal for the VU (depends on stakeholder agreement). Still trying to get everyone together so this might mean it wont happen. 2. Update web site's screen shots to reflect new models / crews / weather (needs our Artistic Director to be there). 3. Commence Planning Tutorial - assumes we can get the mission to run in 4.000. 4. Perhaps take another of Rhys's scenarios out (maybe "Combat Team Flank Attack at Hamelin 1990 v1.2 (4.0)"). Depending on who is there we'll run something suitable. As always, visitors / first timers / spectators are welcome. New Standard: 4.000 Please use the new Calendar RSVP function to facilitate planning. Edited September 1, 2016 by Gibsonm

Panzer_Leader
It was a fun outing Thursday night. Here's my one screen grab: Combat Team 2IC Zero Charlie [Panzer_Leader] guides his gunner onto a T-64B of the enemy counter-penetration force, only to see it destroyed from its right flank by the tanks of 1 Troop [Gibsonm]. The destruction of this tank marked the southern limit of the counter-penetration force's advance.
Panzer_Leader
Three more screenshots from the AAR I couldn't resist posting: A Scimitar of Mike Two One [Bond_Villain] downs a maneuvering Hind with a lucky shot from its 30 mm Rarden. A Soviet infantryman defending EDINGTON seeks revenge for his dead comrades on a Challenger of 2 Troop [Jumo213]. He died gloriously for the Motherland! Finally, a T-64B gunner has his head squashed by a squash head posted through his sight!
