Moderators Volcano Posted September 2, 2016 Moderators Share Posted September 2, 2016 Hmm,the vehicles driving out of water has really always depended on the map theme settings (as far as traction) but if you are seeing some other improvements, such as in the actual terrain transition, then its probably a case of a rare 'good side effect' from some other change.

MDF
The release notes were a bit ambiguous -- I have SB version 4.0, which I understand need not be uninstalled, but should I uninstall the Codemeter runtime before applying the patch?

FWIW I didn't.  The Patch includes a Codemeter update.  Ver 4.000 to 4.004 for me was painless.  It would, at least, not hurt. If you are using a time-based license I would err on the side of a "thorough update" and indeed uninstall the old CodeMeter runtime software. If you don't, or if you installed the new over the old and your time-based license still works, I suppose no further action needs to be taken.
MDF
So I just ran the patch executable without removing CodeMeter runtime first, and everything was fine.
