Panzer_Leader
With 4.0/04 I've been playing around with infantry and their small arms and anti-armour configuration a lot more to make them as historically and doctrinally correct as I can. One question: in terms of game mechanics, how is Ready and Stored small arms ammunition treated? For example, if I have a simulated M249 SAW gunner in a rifle squad with 100 Ready rounds and 700 Stored, how does the game treat 'Ready' versus 'Stored'? My assumption is there may be a delay accessing Stored (e.g. accessing the rounds from packs, other squad members etc.) but it may also be something completely different. Thanks in advance.
Members Ssnake
I suspect that right now there is no recognizable delay due to ammo management. But one day we might implement it.
Panzer_Leader
Thanks Ssnake, good to know. I'll probably continue to use it, at least as much as it makes sense or I can be bothered, to help future proof things (backward comparability being a trademark of eSim releases, and much appreciated).
