I have just uploaded a new version of the highrez pack for use with version 2.460 I have remove a bunch of redundant files and also have scraped the themes and maps. From now on I'm going to work mainly on redoing the default textures instead of having a separate set of themes. This pack is only 4 megs in size and contains only a few terrain textures. Most of the files are smoke and fire replacements along with grass, bush, road and rail replacements.

Please let me know if you have any problems. I'm already working on the next version which will include a few new sky and water textures. Enjoy. s!

version 1.2 uploaded. Added new barn texture, fern textures and new sounds, check the read me file for info on how to install the textures and sound files. Please comment and let me know if this is working our not.

Here are couple of screens of the latest addition to the pack. Finally I got around to over writing that sketchy red SB1 barn and this is what I came up with....so far. Expect this in version 1.3 along with fixes for a couple of sound files,the splash screen and more. comments please.

Just one note, I have downloaded and installed version 1.2 but on the splash screen when I launch the sim, it says 1.1.

I have decided to scale it down a bit.

In this release I have removed all the HR textures used in the highRez themes in the older versions

And instead I'm going to center my efforts on remaking the existing theme textures.

HOW TO INSTALL

Extract the zip folder to C:\Program Files\eSim Games\SB Pro PE

if prompted to over write files select ok.

To install the new sound fx (not required) move the mods folder from

I dont believe this mod has been tested beyond Steel Beast Ver 2.46. However, Message FIDEL. He maybe of help.

tis OK, I reinstalled all normal again.

Also I see what Happened I ended up with 1.2, the confusion was that I clicked on down loads where the numbers stated downloads and didn't realize that I was supposed to click on the one before the `1.2. Its not obvious as the download doesn't say 1.3.

well these textures still mess with the gunners sight, its squared instead of round.

if should work fine, I played it with the latest version a couple of weeks ago. If I get time I will fix the sight image. Its just a few mills to wide, as far as I can tell

The HiRez 1.3 works fine and makes the game looks mutch better.

Because unfortunately you don't work any more on the mod, i have made a updat for the 1.3 Mod with reworked and new textures.

I hope it is ok for you! If not and its a problem i remove the Link immediately.

It is only a Update for the fantastic HiRez 1.3 from fidelthefallguy... you must install the HiRez 1.3 first.
