You can change the type (i.e. different models of Hellfire) but you can't swap rockets for ATGM, etc. (apart from setting the number of ATGMs to 0 and increasing the number of rockets). delta6 Posted February 7, 2017 Author Share Posted February 7, 2017 Tried that you can take off weapons but cannot replace with different rockets..And example if you want a full loadout of hydra's consisting of 72 rockets you won't get them...You have either 2 pods of hydr's and 2 pods of atgm or just 2 pods of which ever you choose atgm or hydra.. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You can reduce the ATGMs to 0 to replicate not having any, but you can't then increase the number of rockets to reflect the extra capacitiy of not carrying ATGMs. So basically tyou can adjust the numbers within the given limits, not exceed them. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
delta6 Posted February 8, 2017 Author Share Posted February 8, 2017 So that means if I take off the atgm I cannot replace with ffar...Doesn't make sense..Some real life missions call for balanced or certain weapons according to the mission...Would you go into a grunt heavy (no armor support)contact with atgm's or would you favor more ffar's?? Gibsonm Posted February 8, 2017 Share Posted February 8, 2017 (edited) Well it may be a legacy thing based on SB's "armour centric" heritage where the primary target would be vehicles and reducing the number of ATGMs carried would be thought of as unusual.
