We "fought" here during Rolling Thunder 15 and probably answers a recent question about if it floods in that area. :)

This isn't all happening in the same place.

 

The Cyclone crossed the coast at Airlie Beach (near Townsville).

 

Its influence on the weather though has extended to flooding far from there. Jimboombah some 1,200km south.

 

Further South still several thousand people are being evacuated from their homes in Northern New South Wales.
