Yes the WW2 topic is quite burnt IMHO, but again that´s what sell´s for mainstream I guess. I don´t have the game yet, but I like what I see, even though it is a bit rough as you stated. As mentioned in the preview, I really like the fact that the OPFOR retreats when overunned! It´s nice to see the AI act like that. I think the game is open for alot of improvements, and really hope it does so. His simulations lab would make any wargamer drool; loaded with well-known and a bunch of lesser know simulations and games. Here a video of some of the contender What I don't like about these new age war games is that unit spawn system c&c like. You start with £x.xx then you get £y.yy per "turn" to buy new units.
