My truck and a BMP-1; Perspective on size.

BMP-1 is extremely small. I'm 5ft 11" and I could barely squeeze in the commander's hatch. I can't imagine how one can escape quickly in case of fire or battle damage. And I though T-72 was small before trying to get into that.

I still remember when I was on my first medical exam for army service and  asked if I could apply to tanks and doctor looked at me and asked am I not bit too tall to fit inside those things.  And then showed me Finnish army guidelines for tanks   I was chocked how small one was supposed to be...     but those guidelines were old from time when we had Bmp-s and T-series of tanks.

I must say that the Gunner trainer simulator pales compared to this.

For the first time I have been sitting in the Gunners seat in the real deal. What a tight squice.

Except for the Grip, none of it is present in the trainer, not even the handcranks.

I have also sat in the commanders seat for the first time and have moved guns and turrets with the commanders stick on both Leopards. 😁😊

Happy Simming

ROFL -  My first (instinctive loggers) reaction to what I saw was that chees..  theres fallen trees to be worked on with forest machine (thing that I do nearly every work day)...   then half a second later my mind processed what I saw and I realized that those were barrels and there were tracks.  :3

Sooo  yeah, that's pretty immersive camouflaging there!
