Sweden participates for the first time this year and has had a good start.

They are leading 3 out of 4 sub-tasks performed and so far has the highest score on the offensive course, there are still more countries to do their turn but it does look good for Sweden. We might not win, but i doubt we will be last ones...

Still better then the Ukraine.

I have no doubts, to the professionalism and commitment of UK team.

But i am wondering is it the fire control drills Used.

Or is it the tanks fire control system and the two piece ammo thats slowing engagement times.

The CR-2 does not score well in competitions although it has proven its self in combat conditions.

From what i have read NATO trained forces place a very high emphasis acquiring targets quickly engagement times.

Did they sort out a score for the QRH in the defence or is that their final score less the defence shoot?

To be honest I'm not sure, I haven't be enable to find a breakdown of the scoring for each team.

And here's a list of tasks that were included, gleaned from the ARRSE forums, https://www.arrse.co.uk/community/threads/cgs-upgrading-challenger-and-warrior.252210/page-161
3 shoot outs, platoon size
1 hand gun firing
1 tank recovery with NBC threat
1 IED attack, tank repair and wounded soldier
1 driving only by following the orders of the commander
1 find 40 targets and report them
1 manual firing using emergency mode

There were apparently a further four tasks not listed.

"Broken" is the default state of a tank. A good crew will see to it that it is "less broken" on average, but it's a constant struggle.

Think of the worst car that you ever had, then multiply. Keep that in mind next time that a used car dealer tells you that "it's sturdy like a tank!"

It seems from Ukrainian sources, that the fault was at the factory level. But perhaps indeed we see here a difference in maintnance training, while NATO crews are trained to deal with most problems their tanks have, Soviet and former Soviet countries tank crews need help from factory personel, I heard Ukrainian took such personel with them, and this personel not crew, tried to fix the problem.
