firstblood
Hello I'm new in steel beasts. I went through the m1a1 tutorial for now.. Do you suggest to buy and play with a joystick or you think that with keyboard and mouse works well? If yes, which joystick do you suggest to buy?

Gibsonm
Welcome. May I suggest you have a look at: but in general I'd agree with Ssnake - you don't need a joystick to use the software, but your personal preference maybe to use one.

Nike-Ajax
I used to use a joystick, but now I use keyboard and mouse as its more precise for me.

There are a large number of possible controllers for Steel Beasts. For personal/recreational use, it all boils down to what you are most comfortable with, and what allows you to have the most fun.
Assassin 7
Using X-52 here and shooting 2.0 seconds with 100% on the Gunnery Range using the Leopard 2A5. So can’t complain. Also found the T-16000 to be a great joystick too

ht-57
Showing some love for my thrustmaster warthog joystick- https://www.amazon.com/ThrustMaster-2960720-Thrustmaster-Hotas-Warthog/dp/B00371R8P4?th=1 It uses magnetic sensors and has super smooth feel when tracking enemy-as well as having switches in all the right spots for tis/zoom/smoke/lazing etc. Its got a bit of weight to it as well as its all aluminum. just a little pricey tho, well just about $4500 less then an actual m1a1 gunners handle- But hey if ya do flight sims as well?? jus say'n
