But don't let me get in the way of your victory lap. Either way, it was a good battle - there was a time when it was looking bad and in doubt. Good job by all COs and and participants! I suspect also having Blue and Green "merge" (at least in Teamspeak) removed some of the C2 issues that previous commanders have had to graple with. We shared a TS channel for the briefing only, Ash and i had a whisper list for the game. We Green players didnt want to listen to Ash's mouth-hole any more than we absolutely had to

Moderators Volcano Posted July 5, 2019 Author Moderators Share Posted July 5, 2019 5 JUL scenario: Civil War Santa Catalina-4019b SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS: Draft? Yes. Random CO selection? Yes. Minimum # players: 12 (B:6, R:6) NOTES: Avoid studying the enemy's side; only gather intel from the briefing and exposed enemy unit icons (enemy intel), and briefly looking over both sides to figure out which one you want to CO. Anything beyond that ruins the fog of war element. To avoid passwords, open the scenario in Network Session as HOST and choose the side you want to play and go to planning phase. You may briefly look at both sides like this to see which side you want to play or CO on. As CO, once you choose a side, go to that side and create your plan. Remember to play within the TGIF House Rules and SB.com community rules.

Gibsonm
Sorry team, NBN (fibre link) offline until at least 01AUG. Therefore, I won’t be there today. Which also means no 4.156 for me until Thursday at the earliest. 😡 Edited July 27, 2019 by Gibsonm

Bond_Villian
NBNco are stepping all over my internet at the moment too. Incompetent ass monkeys.
Gibsonm
Of course as of 1330 it magically came back! At least I can now download 4.156 on schedule (assuming it remains working).
Moderators Volcano Posted August 2, 2019 Author Moderators Share Posted August 2, 2019 So naturally with 4.1 being used this week, expect some initial delay as we get the necessary map in order. Its a new scenario! Also, we may have less players due to the transition to 4.1, so a smaller scenario might be used too. Anyway, just a heads up to let everyone know to be a bit patient this Friday. 🙂
Bond_Villian
@VolcanoIll be in TS early to get help converting the map, had the same "missing hgt" issue that has been reported on another thread
Moderators Volcano Posted August 2, 2019 Author Moderators Share Posted August 2, 2019 OK, no problem. I uploaded all the 4.0 legacy HGT files here to fix that problem...

Gibsonm
Its Base Eject (BE) smoke, not WP. That's where the carrier shell deposits the individual smoke canisters. Edited August 3, 2019 by Gibsonm
Gibsonm
I'm assuming we are running 4.159 for this. Just a prompt for those who may not have noticed so we avoid the usual "Is there a new version!?" comments and related download / installation time lag.
Moderators Volcano Posted August 9, 2019 Author Moderators Share Posted August 9, 2019 Yes, 4.159. Also, the map downloader will be utilized as well (if the map wasn't in the install, but I believe it might be).

Moderators Volcano Posted August 13, 2019 Author Moderators Share Posted August 13, 2019 Just FYI: I have made some significant improvements in the UN Safe Zone scenario for "next time" (next year). Lots of changes made which will make it very different I think, and more likely that Red/Orange will fight each other. We'll see. The point is, it will be different next.
