I wouldn't say you were the first, the scenario is at least 6 years old. But don't let me get in the way of your victory lap. ;)

Either way, it was a good battle - there was a time when it was looking bad and in doubt. Good job by all COs and and participants!

I suspect also having Blue and Green "merge" (at least in Teamspeak) removed some of the C2 issues that previous commanders have had to graple with. :)

We shared a TS channel for the briefing only, Ash and i had a whisper list for the game. We Green players didnt want to listen to Ash's mouth-hole any more than we absolutely had to ;)

5 JUL scenario:

Civil War Santa Catalina-4019b

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:

  • Draft? Yes.
  • Random CO selection? Yes.
  • Minimum # players: 12 (B:6, R:6)

NOTES:

  • Avoid studying the enemy's side; only gather intel from the briefing and exposed enemy unit icons (enemy intel), and briefly looking over both sides to figure out which one you want to CO. Anything beyond that ruins the fog of war element.
  • To avoid passwords, open the scenario in Network Session as HOST and choose the side you want to play and go to planning phase. You may briefly look at both sides like this to see which side you want to play or CO on. As CO, once you choose a side, go to that side and create your plan.
  • Remember to play within the TGIF House Rules and SB.com community rules.

So naturally with 4.1 being used this week, expect some initial delay as we get the necessary map in order. Its a new scenario!  Also, we may have less players due to the transition to 4.1, so a smaller scenario might be used too.

Anyway, just a heads up to let everyone know to be a bit patient this Friday. 🙂
