Lumituisku Posted May 11, 2019 Share Posted May 11, 2019 It appears that on Leo2E and Strv-122 commander can turn protective shield in front of periscope when periscope is aligned with gun. But when so, in normal override mode commander cannot turn turret, but just move sight up and down. And in KW mode he can turn turret but cannot move sight up or down. Is it supposed to work like this? Well, lowered shield prevents traverse of the PERI head, so you will not be able to traverse the turret in KH mode since GPS LOS is slaved to PERI LOS. But speaking of KW, there may be a sort of issue, since you cannot control PERI LOS in this mode disregarding of the shield's position- someone more qualified needs to check and make his judgement EDIT: PERI behavior in KW mode is an entry #7301.
