Unit xx has departed waypoint yy?

I'd like to know how to achieve this function: Unit xx has departed waypoint yy?

I know there is a function for "(...) has reached waypoint yy", but what if the unit is already on that waypoint and I want to trigger a condition/event/start if/spawn if (...) functions when the unit has just departed from that waypoint. How to do it?

I thought about it many times and always figured out other options that required more complicated means to do it, but on this particular example, I only have a very limited time available for steel beasts this week, so I'm exploring the new update by trying different short actions without much complexity. The specific example is a scenario where a platoon of tanks assault an enemy "guard" position. The elements on these defensive positions have retreat waypoints to prepared BPs facing a rear EA. I'd like to trigger a smoke artillery and a HE barrage calls to cover their withdrawal as soon as they leave their guard positions.

How would you do it by the simplest way?

Cheers

Well I'd probably insert a new waypoint "ZZ" very close to YY, say 10 - 20m (maybe less, depends on the ground, etc.).

Then use "... has reached waypoint ZZ"

Don't apply any tactic to ZZ so it doesn't interrupt the unit's progress on the route, but just far enough away to satisfy your need for it to have just left the previous one.

Does that make sense?
