Moderators Volcano Posted August 2, 2019 Moderators Share Posted August 2, 2019 If you are trying to convert a map that is based an official 4.0 HGT file, and if you uninstalled 4.0, then chances are you are running into an issue where you are getting an error that the HGT file is missing. Attached to this post are all the official 4.0 legacy HGT map files so that you can convert your maps. The default location for these files (in Windows 7 at least) is: C:\ProgramData\eSim Games\Steel Beasts\maps Extract into the maps folder. After extracting, you should have a "height" folder, along with a "terrain" folder there. Once you do that, then you should be able to convert your TER files into map packages if they are based on the official HGT files. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You can get it here: https://www.esimgames.com/?page_id=1607 ...but you don't need it if you already downloaded the files that were attached to this post.
