Yes, this is the same error you mentioned previously with the missing "hmap" map package. You are also missing all the deltas of it. These are installed with SB.

It sounds like SB was installed, and you specified that the maps should be installed to one location, then the map package installer were installed, and the location was specified differently which, in the registry, is now your new map location. But since it differs from the first path, the minimal maps are not present.

So, if you can find the location where it put the minimum maps, and move them to where you have all your maps installed, then you will be good.

You can search for: "Gunnery Range Map" and "Instant Action Map" or "range.ter" or "_tutorial_mod.ter".  When you find them, cut and paste the delta map folders from there into your ...hmap [autocreated base]\deltas folder where you maps are actually installed, and you should be good to go.

Yes, its not that.  The Steel Beasts 4.1 game has some basic "minimum maps" included, which are the ones you listed, including the "flat" (blank) map that loads when you go the Mission Editor. These are not included in the big Map Package Installer, because we thought they are included in the game install and didn't think about the possibility of installing them to two different locations. This was an oversight on our part, and we will update the installer, or update the instructions, or something like that.

So, the "minimal maps" were installed somewhere, then the Map Package Installer was installed somewhere else (like another drive), so in the registry SB no longer knows the first location where to find the other maps.  But its good that it happened, so we could fix the loop hole.
