Installed the sim and patch to 4.157 on my C:\ drive and all was good. Next I installed the maps on my X;\ and the sim stops here. When I click OK it flashes the start screen and that's it?

Looks like   x:\01 SB Maps is missing 'default' map package. To fix this, go to C:\ProgramData\eSim Games\Steel Beasts\maps\Packages,  find 'default' folder there and copy it to x:\01 SB Maps. This should help, if  during installation of  v.4.1   default file path  for the maps folder was used.

Yes but SB should copy over this folder.. dpabrams could you please (before you do Jartsev's suggestion), try to change the map package path to 'x:\01 maps' and send the logs of that to me (or upload them here)?

I renamed the folder to  'x:\01 maps' and I get the sim up and here is the log.

Ah sorry I mistyped; I didn't mean for you to to change the folder name to 'x:\01 maps' (the name shouldn't matter in fact). I was thinking that you'd use the SB options (ie click on the path in the options menu and (re)select the 'x:\01 maps' folder.. then see what SB writes in the logfile).

If that doesn't do anything please try Jartsev's suggestion!

Worked and thank you!
