Bond_Villian
Using > or < symbols in a text document that you intend to import as a briefing, will cause SB to ignore parts of the document. (May also apply to other fancy characters)
DarkAngel
Is that new?.
Members Ssnake
No. These would interfere with inline tags that are not visible in the UI, e.g. to denote the begin of the briefing text of the Red party etc. So... don't do that. For us, I suppose, we should ignore those characters that might otherwise create trouble.
DarkAngel
That's what I thought.
Administrators Sean Posted August 26, 2019 Administrators Share Posted August 26, 2019 In general, do not use whacky characters in any windows file or path. A lot of them have special meanings to software, and can lead to unpredictable results, even if windows will let you do it.

Members Ssnake
Don't get yourself a car number plate "NULL". Any ticket written without the number plate recorded will be assigned to you. A number plate starting with ,0,0); DROP TABLE, on the other hand...
CalAB
Sorry for the thread necro... Is there any way to copy the mission briefing to all parties? I can import for blue no problem but not for any other party, or so it seems.
Bond_Villian
Switch to each side in the editor and repeat the import process

Members Ssnake
If you EXPORT the briefing to a TXT file after importing the original briefing text you'll get a file with all the necessary tags for the different parties' sections. You can then copy the briefing from Blue into the corresponding section of Red, Green, Purple, ..., save that TXT file, the import the briefing again. And you could save that TXT file for future use, as a template.
