Mirzayev
During the Kanium mission today, we had several tanks take damage to the drive sprockets. When bringing an ARV forward, the damaged tanks indicated that the damage was being repaired, but the count down on damage for the sprockets never decreased. Are drive sprockets not repairable on purpose during the action phase, or is this a bug?
Members Ssnake
Sounds more like a bug, to be honest. Can you tell how the damage occurred - by direct fire (which ammo, direct hit?), arty, IED, event, ...? I take it that it happened on vehicles owned by clients (also the host?)
Mirzayev
I'll review the AAR files, but I can confirm at least one case is from direct fire, and a direct hit from an ATGM. There is also at least one case of the damage occurring from IDF (I think on A31 @Hedgehog.) I cannot comment on the host,@Nike-Ajax, but clients were affected. Would the AAR or any other files be helpful?
Members Ssnake
Probably not that much more helpful that it warrants hour-long upload times, as long as you can answer the questions above. That's probably quicker and just as good.
Mirzayev
Fair enough. As an update, the direct fire damage was caused by AT-5a ATGMs, and BM-26 rounds. All rounds were direct hits.
Members Ssnake
Okay, I basically wanted to rule out the new HE model and scripted damages as the souce for the damages.
Hedgehog
I have only ever seen this damage inflicted by direct fire in the past. I'll check my AAR & get back to you.
Nike-Ajax
I can verify this problem. Chris and I did a testrun today and had a similar damage: and its irreparable....
