Gibsonm
I've entitled this as 4.161 / 4.162 as the issues were first noticed in 4.161 but are still in 4.162. This is a mission saved part way through to enable continuation at a later date. The clock indicates that it is 0650: The view from beside PSG/3/A shows its dark: Even dark enough to use NVGs (note the steel beam obstacle not shown): However as soon as you "Start" the Sun decides to turn up:
DarkAngel
Will investigate. Thanks. Any chance of getting the initial mission and the save in progress please.
Gibsonm
Sure. Would you like them here or PM'ed?

Gibsonm
Here you are: "Bridge to Far prelim" - start point "Bridge to Far prelim Part1" - the saved mission. Opening this generates both the lighting and obstacle issues. Bridge to Far prelim.sce Bridge to Far prelim Part1.sce

DarkAngel
Yep confirmed. It seems as though the saved state of the mission, during planning phase, reflects the conditions of the initial mission start.

Hopefully one for 4.1XX.

Members Ssnake
I should probably emphasize that the "save in progress" is an approximation. We can't keep track of everything. Of course we try to cover as much as possible, and there may be times of new features first, and later a catch-up with them in mission saving. But there will always be things that we can only approximate.

Understood and while I'm not too worried about the lighting (although it impacts the planning phase), I'm more concerned about obstacles re-appearing and breaches closing as mentioned here: This can impact the plan markedly. Members Ssnake
Yes. For the moment, it has to be treated as a known issue (in the sense that it simply hasn't been implemented, not so much that it is a bug in the strict meaning of a "programming error").
