However adverse weather (wind / temperatures) mean the several seaside communities are now under threat along a large section of the SE coast (Southern NSW, Eastern Vic). Several have their population evacuated to the beaches (land routes denied by fire). Two of our aviation Regts (US Bn equivalents) are dispatching CH-47, MRH-90 and UH-60 to resupply them or potentially extract people off the beach. Also one of our amphib ships (HMAS CHOULES) heading South to spt efforts. Potential for Non Combatant Evacuation Operations (NEO).
