Everybody is Welcome: you don't have to belong to Kanium. We love playing with you all, the arranger and CO loves you even more if you sign up in advance Operation Outbreak by Apocalypse I. Situation Enemy forces are employing militants to defend the town of Mailinska, effectively establishing a buffer between NATO and enemy conventional forces to the south. Militants in Mailinska are equipped with BMP-1s and T-55's, and armed with automatic weapons, RPGs, and defensive obstacles (limited minefields and wire obstacles). To the south, conventional forces estimated at BN (-) strength are defending Grabinza with forces postured forward in Dashina and Porazic. They are equipped with T72B and BMP-2s with supporting infantry. Friendly forces, as part NATO task force, are approaching from the north - first a recon unit (A CO) equipped with light armored vehicles will be tasked with conducting a recon in force, clearing enemy militants between Phase Line RED and Phase Line WHITE (to include Mailinska). Once cleared, the main body (B CO) will arrive, equipped with M1A1(HA) tanks and M2 Bradley's. II. Mission Attack to clear enemy forces between Phase Line RED and Phase Line BLUE to allow future offensive operations III. Execution 1. Use A CO (Recon) to destroy enemy forces in vicinity of Mailinska and clear the way for our tanks in B CO 2. Use B CO to exploit our recon, and destroy enemy forces between PL WHITE and PL BLUE End State 1. Mailinska is clear 2. Grabinza is seized IV. Support 1. Orgainic repair, resupply, and medics is organized under your command 2. BN has allocated 2x mobile bridging assets to support this operation V. Signals No change --Note-- Mailinska will be 'clear' when: 1. Enemy has less than 1 IFV remaining 2. More blue units than red units in town Players will recieve notification and B CO will be transferred under player control. Which means that we have at LEAST two separate and different missions/phases and at least two different and separate forces. (so in this case two). When Phase 1 is complete, you are released to Phase 2. Which means the Units will be released to the CO. At this point the CO will hand out PLTs to the respective PLT LDRs which will distribute the rest to their PLT. Not very complicated on the surface. But to avoid a lot of wasted time and risk of confusion you will pick MATCHING positions and PLTs, with just a (in this case) B in front of the first callsign you manned. In other words and for example, then if you manned A13 in the first phase, then you will man B13 in the second phase. MECHINF in second wave is B4 and B5 PLTs.
